About Me

I am an active Wilton Method Instructor at Michael's in Federal Way and Tukwila, WA. I created this blog to showcase my students' work, during and after their classes with me. It's a wonderful medium to share and exchange ideas expressed in cakes. Please feel free to share the pictures with your friends and relatives. We would love to receive your comments about these wonderful creations. Enjoy! If you have any questions, send me an email to: sweetnessinseattle@yahoo.com

Refreshed Wilton Cake Decorating Courses

I am pleased to announce that the Wilton Refreshed Courses will officially begin in June 2010. I invite you all to come back and learn new and updated techniques in cake decorating. These new courses are perfect for both beginners and advanced students. The refreshed courses are named and scheduled to begin as follows:

Decorating Basics*** - June 7, Monday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm***

Flowers & Cake Design - June 9, Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Gum Paste & Fondant - June 8, Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

*** A new day, same time, may open up if sign-ups exceed our maximum.

Build on the skills you learned from the previous curriculum and explore more ways to make your cakes and cupcakes more exciting.

JUNE Classes are HALF OFF! PLUS, use bounce-in/bounce back coupons (from me!) to get an additional $5 discount towards signup. You also get a free Wilton 2011 Yearbook! To receive your free 2011 Yearbook, you'll need to attach your register receipt from a June class. Yearbooks will then be mailed to you.

PLUS, "SUMMER SWEEPSTAKES"

Anyone who takes a 4-week course at Michaels in June, July or August will automatically be entered in the sweepstakes to win the following prizes:

GRAND PRIZE - One all-expense paid trip to the Wilton School of Confectionery Art for a Master Course;

First Prize - Fifty (50) Michaels $50 gift cards.
